What did you do this past Sunday Funday? We spent time with #Pittsburgh’s Yelp! for our Sweet Social at our Sweet Boutique in Lawrenceville! The famous Yelp! Elites were invited to join us at 3:00pm for some interactive Bella Christiez sweet-treats fun.

Elites were invited to indulge and experience our Liquid Nitrogen Station – their main goal: to learn how to freeze treats. Which of course, they excelled at =) We also introduced, just for the exclusive group, our FRY DADDY Station!

Q: What’s a Fry Daddy Station?
A: The idea stems from Carnival Sweets. We all love a good funnel cake or fried oreo! And so, enter the inception of the Fry Daddy Station…

Since the #FryDaddy station is quite new, only the people dressed in Bella Christiez pink demonstrated – all the Yelp! Elites had to do, was enjoy. Elites were also able to Meet The Owners – sisters, Kadee & Kristen. It was a great opportunity for our guests to ask questions about the business and learn a bit more in depth about the Sweet Shoppe we hold so dear.

A big thank you to Rachel Carlson – Yelp! Pittsburgh’s resident Community Manager. It was so much fun to work alongside her and spend a Sweet Sunday with her, as well. If you haven’t experienced Yelp! yet, we encourage you to do so ASAP! Maybe one day you will be a sweet Yelp elite!
